Ronald Norwood Davies
Robert Norwood Davies (1904-1996 ) was afederal judge for theUnited States District Court for the District of North Dakota.
Davies was nominated by PresidentDwight Eisenhower on June 21, 1955, to a seat vacated byCharles Vogel; he was confirmed by the Senate on July 22, 1955, and received his commission onJuly 27, 1955. He assumedsenior status onAugust 27, 1971. He served the District of North Dakota until his death onApril 18, 1996. Davies was succeeded in this position byPaul Benson.
