Robert Francis Peckham (1920-1993) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Northern District of California.

Peckham was nominated by PresidentLyndon Johnson on September 9, 1966, to a new seat created by 80 Stat. 75; he was confirmed by the Senate on October 20, 1966, and received commission onNovember 3, 1966. From 1976-1988, he served as thechief judge. He assumedsenior status onNovember 11, 1988. He served the Northern District of California until his death onFebruary 16, 1993. Peckham was succeeded in this position byJames Ware.
