Richard Arthur Gadbois (1932-1996) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Central District of California.

Gadbois was nominated by PresidentRonald Reagan on June 28, 1982, to a seat vacated byIrving Hill; he was confirmed by the Senate on July 27, 1982, and received commission thenext day. He assumedsenior status onJanuary 24, 1996. He served the Central District of California until his death onOctober 2, 1996. Gadbois was succeeded in this position byMargaret Morrow.
