Richard Eaton is anArticle III federal judge onsenior status for theUnited States Court of International Trade. He joined the court in 1999 after being nominated by PresidentBill Clinton.[1] Eaton tooksenior status on August 22, 2014.[2]

Education

Eaton graduated from Ithaca College with his bachelor's degree in 1970 and from Albany Law School of Union University with hisJ.D. degree in 1974.[1]

Eaton was nominated by PresidentBill Clinton onAugust 3, 1999, to a seat vacated by JudgeKenton Musgrave as Musgrave assumedsenior status. Eaton was confirmed by the United StatesSenate onOctober 22, 1999, on a majority voice vote and received commission onOctober 26, 1999.[3]
