Richard A. Levie
Richard A. Levie was a judge on theSuperior Court of the District of Columbia. He was appointed to the court by PresidentRonald Reagan in 1985 and retired from the court in 2000.[1][2]
Education
Levie received his undergraduate degree from Dickinson College and hisJ.D. from George Washington University School of Law.[2]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Levie was an attorney in private practice and a litigator with theUnited States Department of Justice. He also worked as a staff attorney, Special Counsel, then Chief Counsel at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.[2]
