Retired Georgia Court of Appeals judge passes away

Georgia: On the night of Friday, January 29, retired judge, John Ruffin Jr. passed away. Ruffin was the first black member of the Augusta Bar Association, the first blackAugusta Superior Court judge, and also, the first black chief judge of theGeorgia Court of Appeals. The family has not made the cause of death publicly known.[1]
