Rensselaer Russell Nelson
Rensselaer Russell Nelson (1826-1904) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
He was nominated by PresidentJames Buchanan on May 20, 1858. He was confirmed by the Senate on May 20, 1858, and received commission on May 30 of the same year.[1][2] He retired onMay 16, 1896. Nelson was succeeded in this position byWilliam Lochren.
