Randy Romanski
Randy Romanski is theWisconsin Secretary of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection. He assumed office on September 28, 2021. His current term ends on January 4, 2027.
Romanski began serving as the interim secretary in November 2019, after theWisconsin State Senate rejected Gov.Tony Evers's (D) nomination ofBrad Pfaff.[1] Gov. Evers appointed Romanski as the permanent secretary on June 1, 2020.[2] The state Senate confirmed Gov. Evers' nomination of Romanski on September 28, 2021.[3]
Biography
Romanski's professional experience includes serving as safety programs chief at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, deputy secretary at the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection, and executive assistant at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. Romanski received a B.A. in political science from the University of Wisconsin at River Falls and an M.A. in public policy and administration from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.[4]
