Randle Smith
Randle Jasper Smith (1908-1962) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
Smith was nominated by PresidentDwight Eisenhower on June 5, 1956, to a seat vacated byCharles Whittaker; he was confirmed by the Senate on July 2, 1956, and received commission the next day. He served aschief judge from 1961 until his death on January 8, 1962. Smith was succeeded in this position byJohn Oliver.
