He will push for tougher inspections of our roads, bridges, and pipelines after a seismic event, and for increased public assistance for those who, through no fault of their own, have been victims of these events, and who have suffered damage to their homes and businesses."

In recent years, the State Legislature has raided funds set aside for maintenance of our roads and bridges to help address the deficit crisis created by their tax cuts and corporate tax giveaways. Randal believes this short-sided approach is harmful in the long run. He supports common-sense budget proposals to maintain enough in our ROADS fund, to eliminate excessive corporate tax rebates, and to reverse the automatic tax cut triggers that helped create the current crisis."

Healthcare

• Excerpt: "Randal supports accepting Medicaid Expansion funds. Whether you like "Obama-care" or hate it, refusing to bring tens of millions of tax dollars that we Oklahomans send to Washington back here to aid the "least among us" is both foolish and short-sided. We don't do that with any other Federal program for which we qualify: we don't refuse Federal road funds from the current administration, we don't refuse Federal disaster help after a tornado or a flood. Why then do we refuse to accept Federal dollars, money WE sent to Washington, to assist our fellow Oklahomans who otherwise have no access to affordable health care?"
