Philip Reinhard
Phillip Godfrey Reinhard is afederal district (Article III) judge for theUnited States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He joined the court in 1992 after being nominated by PresidentGeorge H.W. Bush. Reinhard represents the Rockford Division. He is serving onsenior status.
Early life and education
Reinhard received his B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1962 and hisJ.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1964.[1]

Northern District of Illinois
Reinhard was nominated to theUnited States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois by PresidentGeorge H.W. Bush on August 1, 1991, to a new seat created by 104 Stat., 5089 approved by Congress. Reinhard was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on February 6, 1992 on a senate vote and received his commission onFebruary 10, 1992. Reinhard assumed senior status onJanuary 12, 2007.[1]
