Paul Rao

Paul Peter Rao (1899-1988) was afederal judge on theUnited States Court of International Trade and theUnited States Customs Court.

Federal judicial service

Rao was nominated to the USCC by PresidentHarry Truman. He received his commission onJune 22, 1948. He served aschief judge from 1965-1971. He was reassigned to the new Court of International Trade when the USCC was dissolved, receiving his commission onNovember 1, 1980. He served the Court of International Trade until his death onNovember 30, 1988[1][2]
