Paul Leahy
Paul Conway Leahy (1904-1966) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the District of Delaware.
Leahy was nominated by PresidentFranklin Delano Roosevelt on December 23, 1941, to a seat vacated byJohn Percy Nields; he was confirmed by the Senate on January 7, 1942, and received his commission onJanuary 14, 1942. he served aschief judge from 1948-1957. He assumedsenior status onOctober 7, 1957, and served in that capacity until his death onJuly 3, 1966.[1] Leahy was succeeded in this position byEdwin Steel.
