Oscar Richard Hundley (1855-1921) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

He received a recess appointment from PresidentTheodore Roosevelt on April 9, 1907 to fill a new seat created by 34 Stat. 931. He was nominated on December 3, 1907, but this nomination was not approved by the Senate, so his service ended on May 30, 1908.

Hundley received another recess appointment from PresidentTheodore Roosevelt on May 30, 1908. He was nominated on December 8, 1908, but since the Senate again refused to confirm the nomination, his service was ended on March 3, 1909.

He received a third recess appointment on March 6, 1909, this time from PresidentWilliam Howard Taft. He resigned soon after this, on May 25, 1909.
