Orion Metcalf Barber (1857-1930) was a federal judge on theUnited States Court of Customs Appeals, which became theUnited States Court of Customs and Patent Appeals during the time of his service thereon.

Federal judicial service

Barber was nominated to the Court of Customs Appeals by PresidentWilliam Howard Taft. He received his commission onMarch 30, 1910. He assumedsenior status onSeptember 30, 1928, and served in that capacity until his death onMarch 28, 1930.^[1]
