Norman Roettger
Norman Charles Roettger, Jr. (1930-2003) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.Roettger was nominated by PresidentRichard Nixon on April 13, 1972, to a seat vacated byTed Cabot; he was confirmed by the Senate on May 31, 1972, and received commission onJune 2. He served aschief judge from 1991 until he assumedsenior status onJune 17, 1997. He served until his death onJuly 26, 2003. Roettger was succeeded in this position byWilliam Dimitrouleas.
