Leticia Hernandez is the superintendent of the Newhall School District. Hernandez was appointed superintendent effective July 1, 2022. Her previous career experience includes working as assistant superintendent, director of human resources, and a principal in theNational Elementary School District. She has also worked as a teacher and academic coach in the Chula Vista Elementary District, and a teacher in the Newhall School District.[1]

Past superintendents

  • Jeff Pelzel was the superintendent of the Newhall School District from July 1, 2018 until June 29, 2022. His previous career experience includes working as an assistant superintendent in the district.[2]
