TheNebraska District Courts are the 12 judicial districts coveringNebraska's 93 counties.

Jurisdiction

Nebraska District Courts are courts with original jurisdiction "in all felony cases, equity cases, domestic relations cases, and civil cases where the amount in controversy involves more than $51,000". The District Courts also have appellate jurisdiction over some cases from theNebraska County Courts and for appeals from administrative agencies.[1]

Decisions of the District Courts may be appealed to theNebraska Court of Appeals and/or theNebraska Supreme Court.[1]
