Nathaniel Raphael Jones (1926-2020) was afederal judge for theUnited States Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.

Jones was nominated to the Sixth Circuit by PresidentJimmy Carter (D) on August 28, 1979, to a seat vacated byJohn Peck II; he was confirmed by the Senate on October 4, 1979, and received commissionthe next day. He assumedsenior status onMay 13, 1995, and retired onMarch 30, 2002.[1]
