TheMinnesota Legislative Auditor is a legislative position in theMinnesota state government.

The legislative auditor is appointed by the legislative audit commission for a six year term. The nonpartisan office is responsible for providing the legislature, state agencies and the public with audit and evaluation reports. Financial audits, on the other hand, are the responsibility of theState Auditor.[1]
