Michael F. Nozzolio (b. April 10, 1951) is a formerRepublican member of theNew York State Senate, representingDistrict 54 from 1993 to 2017. He served asmajority whip from 2015 to 2017. He previously served asSenate deputy minority whip.

Nozzolio did not seek re-election to theNew York State Senate in2016.

Nozzolio served in theNew York State Assembly, representing District 128 from 1982 to 1992. During this time he served as deputy minority leader.

Biography

Nozzolio earned his B.S. in labor relations from Cornell University, his M.S. in public administration/agricultural economics from Cornell University, and his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law. His professional experience includes serving as a judge advocate general officer in the United States Naval Reserves and as a commander in the New York Naval Militia.[1]
