Michael Igoe
Michael Lambert Igoe (1885-1967) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
He received a recess appointment from PresidentFranklin D. Roosevelt on November 21, 1938 to a seat created by 52 Stat. 585. On January 5, 1939, he was nominated. He was confirmed by the Senate on February 9th, and received commission onMarch 4th. OnAugust 31, 1965, he assumedsenior status and continued to serve in this capacity until his death onAugust 21, 1967.[1] Igoe was succeeded in this position byWilliam Lynch.
