TheMassachusetts Secretary of Energy and Environmental Affairs is a state executive position in the Massachusetts state government. The secretary serves as head of the Massachusetts Department of Energy and Environmental Affairs, which oversees six regulatory agencies—the departments of environmental protection, public utilities, energy resources, conservation and recreation, agriculture, and fish and game.The secretary is a nonpartisan appointee of theGovernor of Massachusetts.[1]
