TheMaryland Civil Jury Size Amendment, also known asQuestion 1, was on theNovember 3, 1992 ballot inMaryland as alegislatively referred constitutional amendment, where it wasapproved. The measure provided that in any civil proceeding in which the right to a jury trial is preserved the parties are entitled to a jury of at least six jurors.[1]

This measure was placed on the ballot twice as Question 1 andQuestion 2 due to a mistake of the legislators enacting the same legislation twice.[2]
