Education

Schneider earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois and aJ.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.[2]

Professional career

Following law school, Schneider worked as a law clerk for JudgePaul Niemeyer on theUnited States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit. In 2002, she joined the law firm of Mayer Brown in Chicago as a litigation associate. In 2006, Schneider became an assistant U.S. attorney with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for theNorthern District of Illinois, where she worked in various roles until her appointment as a magistrate judge to theUnited States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 2021.[2]
