Margaret Morrow
Margaret Morrow was afederal judge with theUnited States District Court for the Central District of California. She joined the court on February 24, 1998, after a nomination by PresidentBill Clinton. Morrow assumedsenior status on October 29, 2015. She retired from the court on January 6, 2016.[1]
Early life and education
Morrow was born inColumbus, Nebraska. She earned a bachelor's degree from Bryn Mawr College in 1971. She earned aJ.D. from Harvard Law School in 1974.[1]
Professional career
Morrow was a private practice attorney inCalifornia from 1974 to 1998.[1]
Judicial career
Central District of California
Morrow was nominated to theUnited States District Court for the Central District of California by former PresidentBill Clinton on January 7, 1997, to a seat vacated byRichard Gadbois Morrow was confirmed by the Senate on February 11, 1998, and she received her commission February 24, 1998. Morrow assumed senior status on October 29, 2015.[1][2]
