Luther Eubanks
Luther Boyd Eubanks (1917-1996) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.
Eubanks was nominated by PresidentLyndon Johnson on July 19, 1965, to a seat vacated byRoss Rizley; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 11, 1965, and received commissionthat same day. He served aschief judge from 1982 until he assumedsenior status onJune 30, 1986. He retired onAugust 31, 1987.[1] Eubanks was succeeded in this position byLayn Phillips.
