Louisiana Property Tax Relief Fund Amendment (1972)
TheLouisiana Property Tax Relief Fund Amendment, also known asAmedment 3, was on the ballot inLouisiana onNovember 7, 1972, as alegislatively referred constitutional amendment. It wasdefeated. It proposed that districts may not receive reimbursements from the property tax relief fund solely because their debt was assumed by a parish.[1]
