Jones earned his M.S. in economics from Montana State University in 1988. His professional experience includes working as a partner at Frontline Agriculture in 2006. He was also the owner of the following companies; Pure Bliss Cycles, Pondera RV Park, Jathco Systems, and Jones Ranch.
