Leonard Moore
Leonard Page Moore (1898-1982) was afederal judge for theUnited States Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit. He joined the court in 1957 after an appointment fromDwight Eisenhower. At the time of appointment, he was a U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York. He assumedsenior status onMarch 1, 1971, and served in that capacity until his death onDecember 7, 1982.[1]

Moore was nominated by PresidentDwight Eisenhower on September 6, 1957, to a seat vacated byJerome Frank; he was nominated on January 13, 1958, confirmed by the Senate on February 25, 1958, and received his commission onFebruary 27th. He assumedsenior status onMarch 1, 1971, and served in that capacity until his death onDecember 7, 1982.[1]
