Biography
Laurie Osher was born inPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania, and lives in Orono, Maine. Osher earned a B.S. from Cornell University in 1982, an M.S. in soils and geomorphology from North Carolina State University in 1985, and a Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley in 1997.[1][2][3] Her career experience includes owning Osher Environment Systems and working as a soil and watershed scientist with the USDA Forest Service.[2][4]
