  • Protect every Georgian's right to vote in safe fair elections.
  • Protect our public education institution and our teachers who help our students learn about the world around them.
  • Support health care for all Georgians.
I'm passionate about health care for all Georgians, securing the rights of all to vote in free and fair elections and preserve our environment.
To be an elected official with principles means to have a strong sense of fairness, justice and dignity for every person I'm representing not just for those I deem worthy of it. It means accommodating and adapting to the needs of an ever changing community.
Qualities that make for a successful officeholder are honesty, integrity and a willingness to compromise on issues when called for. I feel I have not only these qualities but many more that will help me be successful when I win.
I, like several members of my family, worked at a family friends' restaurant. I worked there for a few years off and on first as a "busboy" then as a waitress. I remember it took me two buses to get there which made for very unpleasant rides in the winter!
I think the greatest challenge will be how to change certain outdated beliefs to accommodate the change in population that will only continue to grow.
Running for another office is something I haven't even thought about. My main focus is winning in my district and serving my community to the best of my abilities.
Of course compromise is desirable and we always like to hear the term "bipartisan" when it comes to policies. However, compromise isn't always necessary a necessary ingredient to have good sound policies.
