Kenneth Hixson
Kenneth Hixson is a judge for District 3 Position 2 of theArkansas Court of Appeals. He assumed office in 2013. His current term ends on December 31, 2030.
Hixson won re-election for the District 3 Position 2 judge of theArkansas Court of Appeals outright after the general election onMay 24, 2022, was canceled.
Hixson was a candidate for Position 3 judge of theArkansas Supreme Court. Hixson lost the general election onMay 22, 2018.
Biography
Education
Hixson received his B.S. in mathematics from the University of Central Arkansas in 1978 and hisJ.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1982.[1]
Career
Hixson was in private practice with the law firm of Jones & Hixson in Fayetteville from 1982 to 1994. In 1994, he joined P.A.M. Transportation Services, Inc., as its general counsel. In 2004, he reopened his private practice and remained in private practice until he was elected to theArkansas Court of Appeals.[1]
