Faber representedDistrict 12 in theOhio State Senate from his appointment in January 2007 to 2016. He served aspresident of the Senate from 2013 to 2017.
Faber wasa district-level delegate to the2016 Republican National Convention fromOhio. He was one of 66 delegates from Ohio pledged to supportJohn Kasich at the convention.
Biography
In addition to his political career, Faber is an attorney and the founder of Faber and Associates, his civil litigation and mediation law firm inCelina, Ohio. He has been a member of the Ohio State Bar Association's Public Understanding of the Law Advisory Board, the editorial board of Ohio Lawyer Magazine, the Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys, and the Defense Research and Trial Lawyers Association.[2][3][4]
Faber was born on January 19, 1966, inTroy, Missouri, and his hometown isCelina, Ohio. In 1988 he graduated from Oakland University inRochester, Michigan, with a bachelor’s degree in public administration and policy. He earned his law degree in 1991 from the Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law. He has been a member of the Celina Fraternal Order of Eagles, Right to Life, the Mercer County Sportsman, Saint John's Lutheran Church, the Loyal Order of Moose, and a board member of the YMCA of Auglaize-Mercer. He lives in Celina with Andrea, his wife, and their two children.[5][6][7]

While the Auditor is elected in a partisan election, it is not a partisan position. That’s why Keith Faber led on reforms that have reduced new regulatory filings by nearly 50 percent and why he will continue his fight to reform Ohio’s burdensome regulatory environment so that we protect families and grow our economy at the same time. Rein in Wasteful Spending TAKING A HARDER LOOK AT STATE AGENCIES Ohio spends billions of dollars on government bureaucracy.
