Kathy Johnson is a judge of the7th Judicial District inLouisiana (Catahoula andConcordia Parishes). She has served in this position sinceMarch of 1996. She was the first woman ever elected to the 7th District and replaced former JudgeGlenn Gremillion.[1][2][3] She was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[4][5]

Johnson earned a B.A. from Northwestern State University, going on to receive herJ.D. from Louisiana State University in 1978.[6]

Career

Johnson worked as the clerk of court for Catahoula Parish prior to becoming a judge in 1996.[1]
