Judith Barzilay
Judith Barzily is aArticle III federal judge serving onsenior status for theUnited States Court of International Trade. She joined the court in 1998 after being nominated by PresidentBill Clinton. She assumed senior status onJune 2, 2011.[1]
Early life and education
Barzilay graduated from Wichita State University with an undergraduate degree in 1965 and from Rutgers University School of Library and Information Science with a Master's in Library Science in 1971. In 1981, she earned herJ.D. from Rutgers University School of Law.[1]

Barzily was nominated by PresidentBill Clinton onJanuary 27, 1998, to a seat vacated by JudgeDominick DiCarlo as DiCarlo assumedsenior status.[1] Barzily was confirmed by theSenate onMarch 11, 1998, on a majority voice vote and received commission onMarch 11, 1998.[2] She assumed senior status onJune 2, 2011.
