Joseph McGarraghy
Joseph Charles McGarraghy (1897-1975) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the District of Columbia.
McGarraghy was nominated by PresidentDwight Eisenhower on November 10, 1954, to a seat vacated byWalter Bastian; he was confirmed by the Senate on December 2, 1954, and received his commission onDecember 3rd. He assumedsenior status onDecember 17, 1967, and served in that capacity until his death onNovember 29, 1975.[1]
