Joseph Cross
Joseph Cross (1843-1913) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
He was nominated by PresidentTheodore Roosevelt on March 13, 1905 to fill a new seat which was created by 33 Stat. 987. He was confirmed by the Senate onMarch 17, 1905, and received commission that same day. He served until his death onOctober 29, 1913.[1] Cross was succeeded in this position byThomas Griffith Haight.
