Johnny Shaw
Johnny Shaw (Democratic Party) is a member of theTennessee House of Representatives, representingDistrict 80. He assumed office in 2000. His current term ends on November 3, 2026.
Shaw (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to theTennessee House of Representatives to representDistrict 80. He won in the general election onNovember 5, 2024.
In October 2025, Shaw announced he would not run for re-election to theTennessee House of Representatives District 80 in 2026.[1]
Biography
Shaw studied theology at the American Baptist Theological Seminary. He has worked as a psychologist, pastor of Saint John Missionary Baptist Church and co-owner of Shaw Broadcasting Company.
