John Rellstab (1858-1930) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

He was nominated by PresidentWilliam Howard Taft on May 6, 1909 to fill the seat vacated byWilliam Mershon Lanning.[1] He was confirmed by the Senate onMay 18, 1909, and received commission that same day. OnOctober 10, 1928, he assumedsenior status. He served in this capacity until his death onSeptember 22, 1930. Rellstab was succeeded in this position byJames William McCarthy.
