John Nordberg
John Albert Nordberg was anArticle III federal judge for theUnited States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He joined the court in 1982 after being nominated by PresidentRonald Reagan (R). Nordberg assumedsenior status on June 18, 1994, and ended his service when he died on March 12, 2021.
Early life and education
Nordberg graduated from Carleton College and later graduated from the University of Michigan law school in 1950.[1]

Judicial career
Northern District of Illinois
On the recommendation of former U.S. Senator Charles Percy, Nordberg was nominated to theUnited States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois by PresidentRonald Reagan (R) on March 11, 1982, to a seat vacated byBernard Decker. Nordberg was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on April 20, 1982, and received commission onApril 21, 1982. Nordberg assumedsenior status onJune 18, 1994. His service ended when he died on March 12, 2021.[1]
