John Anthony Danaher (1899-1990) was afederal judge on theUnited States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
Danaher received arecess appointment from PresidentDwight Eisenhower on October 1, 1953, to a seat vacated by James M. Proctor; he was nominated on January 11, 1954, confirmed by the Senate on March 30, 1954, and received his commission onMarch 31st. He assumedsenior status onJanuary 22, 1969, and served in that capacity until his death onSeptember 22, 1990.[1]
