John Benjamin Sanborn

Sanborn was nominated by PresidentHerbert Hoover on December 19, 1931 to replaceWilbur Franklin Booth. He was confirmed by the Senate on January 19, 1932, and received commission onJanuary 23rd. OnJune 30, 1959, he assumedsenior status. He served until his death onMarch 7, 1964.
District of Minnesota
Sanborn was previously afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
He was nominated by PresidentCalvin Coolidge onMarch 18, 1925 to replaceWilbur Franklin Booth.[1] He was confirmed by the Senate and received commission that same day. He served on this court untilFebruary 2, 1932, when he was appointed to the Eighth Circuit. Sanborn was succeeded in this position byMatthew Joyce.
