I am a software engineer, community health advocate, and organizer running as a grassroots candidate, funded by regular working people, to represent our community in Congress!

Growing up, I watched my immigrant parents work multiple jobs to create a better life for our family and worked hard alongside them to achieve their dream of starting a small business. I am committed to creating a more equitable society where our loved ones and communities have the resources they need to thrive.

As the founder of the Action Care Equity (ACE) Coalition, I have been leading the movement to prioritize people's health. Through months of community organizing, the ACE coalition recently succeeded in LA County improving worker and patient protections in healthcare settings.As I write this, I am on my way back from Washington, DC, where I advocated for more funding for our healthcare needs and attended Bernie Sanders's Long Covid Senate hearing.

I have worked for Democratic campaigns, including the Biden and Obama campaigns, and I am very disappointed in the pro-corporate shift in the Democratic Party. I have successfully been demanding better and will be able to demand even more for our community in Congress.

• Health and the Economy:Health and the economy are two issues that are bound together. We need to make sure we are investing in our communities to make sure people are receiving the best quality healthcare and resources to address any illness or disability they are experiencing. By and large, we need clean air outside and inside of every building (businesses, schools, churches, etc.), this will lead to people healthier and better able to follow their dreams and lead to a stronger economy. As a long-term investment, Clean air, both outdoors and indoors, will help us mitigate the climate crisis and prevent future airborne pandemics. A healthier and thriving community is a safe community. We must do all we can for our health and the economy.
• Cost of Living:The cost of housing, food, gas, education... it is all way too high with so many people struggling just to put food on the table. The combination of high housing prices and low living wages is causing many renters to become unhoused much less able to achieve their dream of buying a home. Even homeowners are struggling to keep their homes as interest rates skyrocket. One large part of the issue is corporate greed that hikes up prices while they control many politicians in Congress. We need to regulate the greed and create economic policies that invest in our communities and small businesses so there are better paying jobs available and workforce development programs to prepare people for good paying jobs.
• Justice and Peace:We need to make sure we are investing tax dollars here at home instead of fueling the insatiable war machine that profits from harming the innocent both here at home and abroad. The videos coming out of Gaza have been incredibly heartbreaking and that's why I've been speaking out for a ceasefire since early october
