I am a physical therapist that has practiced for over 30 years in the field of outpatient orthopedics. I have been married for 30 years and have 3 sons who are 20, 23 and 25. I have lived in the district for the last 20 years and love this community. I also currently serve as the President of the Webster Groves Board of Education.
  • I believe we need to make quality healthcare more affordable and accessible for everyone. This includes a working to eliminate the disparities in healthcare for black and brown Missourians.
  • Public education is under attack in Missouri and across the country. We must work to protect our public schools and make sure every child in Missouri has access to a quality education regardless of their zip code.
  • Women’s reproductive rights have been taken away. Every woman in Missouri should have access to healthcare, including abortion. Those medical decisions need to be left to a woman and her doctor. Government has no place making healthcare decisions for women.
Having a background in healthcare, I am passionate about making healthcare and prescription drugs affordable and accessible for everyone. I feel it is critically important that we improve the maternal and infant mortality rate for women and children of color.
As a school board member and parent, I am also passionate about protecting our public schools. Education is under attack and we have to protect our schools. We need to make funding our schools and paying our teachers a priority in Missouri.

Scorecards

See also:State legislative scorecards andState legislative scorecards in Missouri

Ascorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
