Campaign themes

2016

The following issues were listed on Petermann's campaign website. For a full list of campaign themes, click here.

  • Shrink Government: The Constitution demands that we minimize the role of government in our lives. Much of the reason for the many issues we face in today’s world is due to the growth of the size and scope of the federal government.
  • Defend Rights for the Born and the Preborn: It is not possible to trade liberty for safety, and because of this we cannot allow the government to make us “safer” by taking our liberties away.
  • Defend the Constitution: The 1st amendment, which protects our right to freedom of expression. We must stand against the IRS’s persecution of political opponents.
