James W. Morris (Federal judge)
James Ward Morris (1890-1960) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the District of Columbia.
He was nominated by PresidentFranklin D. Roosevelt on May 23, 1939 to a seat created by 52 Stat. 584. He was confirmed by the Senate on June 15th, and received commission onJune 19th. He served until his death onNovember 15, 1960.[1]
