Biography

James Harris was born in Dallas, Texas. Harris' professional experience includes working as a case worker, social worker, and certified probation officer. He earned an associate degree from El Centro College in 1972 and a bachelor's degree from Austin College in 1974.[1]

J Frank Harris is a life long resident of this district. I graduated Booker T. Washington Tech High School, El Centro College, and obtain a BA from Austin College in Pol. Sci & Soc. I have been married over 40 years to my wife Yvonne and we have 4 children. I have worked in community youth diversion programs most of my life was a case worker to the Homeless and Psychologically Challenged, Dir. of Soc. Serv. in a school, Certified Juvenile Probation Officer/Administration (Medicaid /SS Specialist) at Dallas County Juvenile Department. Volunteered in various campaigns, ran for Dallas City Council, I was staff/consultant to Mayor Steve Bartlett (3 years), successful Campaign Manager for Charlotte Mayes (twice), Comm. Price, Sandra Crenshaw, others. I have served on two Dallas Board and Commissions, founding member and Chairman of the Board of Martin Luther Family Clinic, past Ruling Elder-treasurer and Clerk of Session of a church. Initiated the "Save the Name: Booker T. Washington High School-Dallas Campaign", formally initiated the renaming of street to Martin Luther King Jr, Blvd. Created the annual Juneteenth Festival in the Washington Street /Roseland Homes community, advocated for incarcerated girls to receive perinatal care to Texas lawmakers/staff, arraigned for over 1000 youth to travel over America for empowerment/enrichment and YoungLife ventures/excursions. Present member of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church. Help me to REPAIR THE BREACH in our cities!
  • Help J. Frank Harris to you keep your money in your pocket. STOP High Taxes, High Gas Prices, and High Inflation that is hurting our citizens, particularly the poor. STOP BIG PHARMA from sending our prescription drug industry overseas to make Americans vulnerable to hostile regimes. Bring our essential industries home; jobs for Americans first, even with tax breaks. STOP Covid with responsible individualism and allow liberty to mitigate Covid’s impact on the citizenry.
  • STOP insane immigration policies in favor of using those funds to increase Social Security for seniors and disabled (particularly Veterans). STOP unfair low wages because of flooding the district with illegal proxy workers who suppress wages and take jobs away from America’s low income.
  • STOP woke culture from perverting Truth, Justice and the American Way and their attempts to neutralize Christianity in the nation. STOP the perversion of women’s sports so women will have a chance to compete, win, and be awarded scholarships and advertisements and profit from their accomplishments.
It is J. Frank Harris' position that the government is to undergird society and do only those things that individuals cannot do. Hence, responsible infrastructure, provide for the defense of the nation, keep law order and justice for all, take care of the General Welfare, promote the economic growth of the country and its citizens. As much as my Christian values will provide equal opportunity to all, there some issues that I will be a catalyst to improve for those who by no fault of their own have been locked out or left behind. 1) STOP schools and school boards from ignoring the wishes of parents and ensuring parents that they have a say in what is taught to their children. 2) STOP “defunding the police initiatives”; improving the apprehension of criminals who prey upon the innocent in the communities. 3) STOP the perversion of women’s sports; they should compete, win, and be awarded scholarships, advertisements jobs, and profit from their accomplishments. 4) STOP running businesses and jobs out of the country. 5) STOP unfair low wages because of flooding the district with illegal proxy workers who suppress wages and take jobs away from America’s low income. 6) STOP the perversion of the Justice System/Witch Hunts, that it is not to be used for retribution and waste taxpayer money; moratorium on bail reform, be able to sue jurisdictions whose weak bail systems causes innocent death. 7) STOP BIG TECH from shutting down free speech, and the Bill of Rights.
Any true Biblical Prophet because once they received the calling and direction from God they acted and implemented what He said. One needs to be faithful to your calling regardless of the obstacles in your way,
Drive and commitment. One should not continue to have the government doing things the people can do for themselves.
Assassination of Joh F. Kennedy, I was 13 years old in a homemakers class at Booker T. Washington High School and the teachers came in and told us. I was too young to grasp the significance but I knew it was bad.
I have worked since I was 8 years old with my dad on Saturdays from 6 in the morning until about Noon at his job. He was a janitor/maintenance man. I learn over the years the core understanding of mechanic and machines as well as cleaning and repairs. Now, I have a great aptitude in the field that I never call for any service for my home or automobiles unless I choose (rarely) to let someone else do the work. These include all home maintenance matters, floors. any electric matter, install and maintain HVAC units, plumbing, yard care, painting. Although, I do repair minor roof issues, I will contract that out since you need it completed in one day and you need a crew to do that.
It control the purse, taxing and all bill pursuit to that has to start in that body.
No, the representative should just be committed to his cause and it will work itself through the corridors of legislation.
Banking, housing, justice, health, education, and welfare would be a start.
In most cases sure, but core belief is never to be compromised.
