James Connell
James C. Connell (1897-1973) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
Connell was nominated by PresidentDwight Eisenhower on June 24, 1954, to a new seat created by 68 Stat. 8; he was confirmed by the Senate on August 10, 1954, and received his commission onAugust 11th. He served aschief judge from 1960-1967. He assumedsenior status onSeptember 21, 1971, and served in that capacity until his death onOctober 30, 1973.[1]
