Isaac Samuels Pennybacker
Isaac Samuels Pennybacker (1805-1847) was afederal judge on theUnited States District Court for the Western District of Virginia.[1]
He received a recess appointment from PresidentMartin Van Buren on April 23, 1839. On January 29, 1840, he was officially nominated. He was confirmed by the Senate onFebruary 17, 1840, and received commission that same day. He resigned onDecember 6, 1845.[1]
